Never has song and acting come together in such a powerful way. Not only is the depth of passion breathtaking, but the spirituality of the story is so rich and right on target and the goodness of Jean Valjean is so exceedingly rare. This is Goodness, Truth, and Beauty coming together in an extraordinary way!
Hugh Jackman's Jean Valjean was the most sublime acting I have ever seen. His incredible passion in singing and acting in the beautiful music and story are unmatched.
What they accomplished here was the reaching the summit of the Mt. Everest of acting (to use Hugh Jackman's words).
