Jake and Parrot: Preshrunk in other Picasa Album
OK, now let's try adding an already shrunken photo from Picasa. I uploaded this photo earlier to Picasa at a larger size and then shrank it using Picasa editing tools: Actions/Edit/Edit in Creative Kit. It's now 800 pixels wide, about 68K, thus meeting the maximum allowable free photo size.
In order to add it to the blog post, I chose the "From Picasa Web Albums" after clicking the photo icon.

ReplyDeleteHi, To answer your question left on our blog about Blogger resizing photos after you reach your 1 gb limit - no, they don't. In fact, they have been hitting a lot of bloggers with their limit lately and some are being forced to sign up with google+ to enter Picasa and then pay for extra storage. This is one blog it just happened to.
